Wilma Dorothy Noll, age 93, of Alma, passed away on Friday, March 08, 2013 at St. Mary’s Hospital, Rochester.
She was born on September 12, 1919 in the Town of Belvidere, Buffalo County, WI to the late Hugo and Augusta (Schuth) Marking.
On October 28, 1944, Wilma was united in marriage to Norbert Noll St. Francis DeSales Catholic Church in Studio City, CA. Norbert preceded Wilma in death on January 12, 1972.
Wilma was a long time employee for the Buffalo County Register of Deeds serving the county for 27 years, retiring in 1983.
She was an active and devoted member of St. Lawrence Catholic Church, serving on the DCCW and the Mission Group where they would graciously make and donate quilts.
Wilma was a lady with a strong, yet giving and loving heart. She always would put the needs of her family before her own. Enjoyed time out playing cards and being with friends. Her memory will live in the hearts of her family forever.
Wilma will be dearly and sadly missed by her four sons, Richard (Linda) of Waterford, WI; James (Sandy) of Superior, WI; John (Terri) of Plymouth, MN; and Thomas (Angela) of Eveleth, MN; 10 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; also by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and dear friends.
Besides her parents and husband, Norbert, two sisters, Marie and Eleanor along with one brother Walter preceded Wilma in death. A mass of Christian Burial will be at St. Lawrence Catholic Church in Alma on Tuesday March 12 at 11:00AM with an hour of visitation prior to the service. Burial will follow at Alma Public Cemetery.
