V. Beatrice “Bea” Moham, age 94 of Menomonie, formerly of Alma, WI, loving wife and mother passed away Wednesday, August 29, 2018. She was born on March 13, 1924 in Winona, MN, the daughter of Nicholas and Vera (Giese) Barrett. She married Sidney Moham on August 17, 1946 and they were able to share 72 years together. To this union, two children were born, Michael and Monica. Bea worked for the Buffalo County Human Services department for over 25 years. She was an active member of the St. Paul’s/St. Luke’s United Church of Christ in Alma. Bea played the organ at church for over 40 years. She was a member of Alma Auxiliary Post #224. Bea was also very involved with “Friends for Animals”, rescuing and helping stray cats and kittens. She had a wonderful sense of humor and a great smile.
Bea will be sadly missed by her husband, Sidney; son, Michael; daughter, Monica; loving grandchildren and great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; cousins and many dear friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Nicolas Barrett and Vera Benson; brother, Lonnie Benson and sisters, Fern Pearson, Hazel Auer and Grace Eikamp.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 22, 2018 at 11:00 am with an hour visitation prior to at St. Paul/St. Luke’s United Church of Christ with Pastor Clausen officiating.
