Tristan J. "T.J." Gumbert

He was born on August 29, 1996 in Rochester, the son of Janine “Beaner” Davis and Terry Gumbert.

Tristan attended Cochrane-Fountain City Schools. 

Tristan worked at Turnbull Masonry in Buffalo City and later worked at several other construction companies with the most recent being JLP Construction and Custom Drywall. 

Tristan enjoyed fishing, tubing with friends down the river and playing an “occasional” scratch-off.

He will be remembered by many for his sense of humor and always quick with a joke and being a jack of all trades.  What will be mostly remembered about Tristan is his positive attitude, especially as he battled cancer.  He never allowed cancer to define him or feel sorry for himself.   

Tristan is survived his parents, Janine “Beaner” (Greg “Tater”) Stevens and Terry Gumbert; sister, Megan (Gary) Cataract and Cole Stevens; nieces, Alyssa and Aubrie Cataract; paternal grandparents, Fay Richardson and Gary Gumbert; significant other, Lindsey Plach; also by aunts, uncles, other relatives and dear friends.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Harold and Darlene Davis and his uncle, Josh Gumbert.
