Todd A. Ritscher

Todd A. Ritscher, age 49 of Alma, passed away on Friday, April 7, 2017. He was born on November 21, 1967, in Wabasha, MN, the son of Bergie and Marvis (Reidt) Ritscher. Todd married Jill Riley on May 2, 1998 and later divorced. Todd and Jill had one son, Caleb Ritscher. Todd held various jobs in law enforcement in the Buffalo County which included; Sheriff’s Deputy, Jailer and Radio Communication officer. Most recently, he was the City of Alma Chief of Police. Todd was an avid fisherman and hunter. Todd is survived by his son, Caleb; former wife, Jill Ritscher; siblings, Barry (Deb); Kevin (Marie) and Pam (Don) Hessler; special friend, Darma Pickering; nephews and nieces; other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents. A memorial gathering will be held at Talbot Family Funeral Homes – Alma Chapel on Thursday, April 13, 2017 at 10:00 am to 1:00PM with a prayer service.
