Tanya M. Knudtson-Crist, 35, of Osseo, left her parents’ farm to go heal and be with a higher power. Tanya was born on January 27, 1977, in Mondovi to Judy (Nelson) and William Knudtson. She was a graduate of Osseo-Fairchild High School and earned her Associates Degree in Paralegal from Chippewa Valley Technical College. Tanya enjoyed spending time with her girls, family and friends. She took pleasure in being a mom, camping, canoeing, reading and taking pictures and videos of her favorite memories. Tanya was a loving mother, daughter, sister, aunt, grand-daughter, cousin and friend. Tanya experienced both great love and loss in her life. She had a great spirit, a protective nature, a strong will, a huge sense of humor and always had a smile on her face. She had many family members and friends who loved her with all of their hearts. She will be deeply missed each and every day. The most important thing that Tanya wanted was and is for her daughters, Dacoda and Willoh, to know that she loved them very much and wants them to lead happy lives knowing that their mom is watching over them each step of the way. Tanya, we know your pain and suffering has been lifted from your soul and you are now at peace. Tanya’s memory will live on in the hearts and minds of her two daughters, Dacoda of Madison and Willoh of Jefferson, her parents William and Judy Knudtson of Osseo, her brother, Michael (Tammy) of Osseo, two sisters, Nicole (Scott) of Hixton and Lorraine (Michael) of Minneapolis, grandmother, Virginia Knudtson of Gilmanton, grandparents Carol and Lloyd Nelson of Gilmanton, two nieces, Trinity and Hailie Knudtson of Osseo, one nephew, Mason, of Osseo, and many aunts, uncles and cousins. She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Milford Knudtson. A celebration of her life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 7, 2012, at the Osseo Evangelical Lutheran Church. Visitation will be from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials for her daughters are preferred.
