Struther Otis Adams

Struther Otis Adams, age 34 of Mondovi, WI died Tuesday, July 22, 2014 in the Town of Albany, Pepin County as a result of a motorcycle accident. Otis was born on December 15, 1979 in Eau Claire the second of three children born to Gary and Vicky (Hellend) Adams. Otis worked construction and also became a caregiver to his father, Gary. Otis was a great cook. He could make wonderful salsa and spaghetti sauces made right from the vegetables grown in his own garden. He thoroughly enjoyed his motorcycle trips around the area and will be remembered as a large man with strong presence and with a sense of humor to match. Those who would meet Otis would immediately like him. Otis will be greatly missed by his parents, Gary and Vicky Adams of Mondovi; his brother, Chad Adams of Parker, CO; his sister, Alison Adams of Mondovi; his two nephews and niece, Griffin, Owen and Fiona; aunts and uncles, Randall “Lefty” Adams of Mondovi, Ruth (Ron) Moran of Rochester, MN, Lois Hellend of Bloomington, IN, Karen (Fran) Pattison of Mondovi, Nugget Hellend of Blairstown, IA and Lloyd (Jane) Hellend of Rock Falls; also by many cousins and friends. A memorial service will be held on Saturday July 26 at 11:00 AM at the Talbot Family Funeral Home, Mondovi Chapel. A memorial gathering will be held on Friday July 25 from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM and again on Saturday, from 10:00 AM until the hour of the service all at the funeral home.
