Sharon M. Benson

Sharon M. Benson, age 53 of Winona formerly of Buffalo City, passed away after a courageous battle with cancer on Friday, August 17, 2018 at Sauer Health Care. She was born on October 16, 1964 in Arcadia, WI, the daughter of Joseph and Darlene (Blum) Lisowski. She graduated from Cochrane-Fountain City High School in 1983. Sharon worked in the financial industry for several years, most recently with Wells Fargo in Minneapolis, MN. She was an avid reader and enjoyed scrap booking. Sharon was also an avid Vikings fan. She is survived by her son, Matthew (Kate) Benson of Rosemount, MN; father, Joseph Lisowski; sister, Nancy Lisowski (fiancé Dean Lande) of Maple Grove, MN; brothers, Pat (Cindy) Lisowski of Arcadia, WI and their children, Logan, Seth and Kaden and Jeff (Andrea) Lisowski of Buffalo City, WI and their children, Cody (Jaida Burch) and Cale; numerous aunts and uncles; other family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her mother. A private service will be held for Sharon. She will be laid to rest at Buffalo City Cemetery, Buffalo City, WI.
