We lost our beloved Scott on Monday, October 29. Scott was born on May 29, 1969 to Dick and Connie Glenz. He graduated from North High School in 1987. He married Becky Kinderman on June 6, 1992 and they had two amazing children Cheyanne and Christopher. They later divorced and then he found the love of his life and soulmate Carrie Best. They were married on March 19, 2011. Scott and Carrie enjoyed bow hunting together, doing yard work together and just doing nothing together. They were inseparable. Scott deeply loved his wife, his children, his family and his many friends and had a gift to express that love very freely and openly. He had fun sharing beers with family and friends on his deck and at his favorite bar Hobbsy’s. Scott always had a smile on his face and a good story to tell. He enjoyed making people laugh and that made people want to be with him. What most people didn’t know is that Scott suffered from severe anxiety for more than 40 years. Every day was an internal battle for him. One he could no longer bear. Scott is at peace now and was greeted in heaven by his adoring mother, his maternal and paternal grandparents and many other loving family members and friends. He is survived by his wife Carrie, daughter Cheyanne (Jeff Durow Jr.), son Christopher, father Richard (Carol Sue Olson), sister Lori Goulet (Harry Fleig), step brothers Brett (Missy) and Cole Olson and many other Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, Nieces and Nephews, In-laws and friends. There are no words to express what a void we will all feel for so many years to come. We love you Scott Richard Glenz. Rest in peace. Services will be held at Hope Lutheran Church in Eau Claire on Friday, November 2nd. Visitation from 10:00 – 11:00 am, service at 11:00 am and lunch afterwards.
