Sandra L. Wagner, 74, of Wabasha died Monday, July 14, 2014, at St. Marys Hospital in Rochester, Minn.
Sandra was born July 3, 1940 in Winona, a daughter of Rudolph and Eleanore Dietrich.
She was married to David J. Wagner Sr. and to this union nine children were born. David preceded Sandra in death July 22, 1992.
She will be remembered for her love of traveling with her friends, especially with Elaine and for her “occasional” trips to the area casinos. But mostly Sandra will be remembered as a devoted homemaker and how she provided a loving and harmonious home for her family. She will be forever loved by her family and many friends.
Sandra will be deeply missed by her children, Sue (Scott Mitchell) Solberg of Rochester, Cindy Krause of Pepin, David J. (Tina) Wagner Jr. of Eyota, Minn., Daniel Wagner of Wabasha, and Carol (Rodney) Harcey of Plainview; nine grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; three sisters; two brothers; and several nieces, nephews other relatives and many friends.
Besides her parents and husband, David Sr., Sandra was preceded in death by four daughters, two in infancy and Debbie and Crystal Wagner; along with her son-in-law, Tom Sveen.
A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, July 18 at the Talbot Family Funeral Home, Alma, Wis., with the Rev. Joel Bacon Pastor of St. John Lutheran Church of Alma officiating. Inurnment will follow at Buffalo City Cemetery.
A memorial gathering will be held Friday one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
