It is with a heavy heart that the family of Rosemary Huber announce her passing Monday, July 21, 2014.
Rosemary was born to Frank and Belle (Landry) Krampeter on June 13, 1930, and began her life in Gilmanton, Wis. She was one of four children with one sister (Gloria Witham) and two brothers (Frank and Kenneth), all who have preceded her in death. In 1948, she married Russell L. Huber, and they had four children: John (Illinois), Joanne (California), Russell A. (Wisconsin) and Brian (Wisconsin). She was widowed in 1976. Rosemary was a longtime resident of Cochrane, Wis., and worked for the Cochrane Post Office most of her adult life, retiring as postmaster in 1987. Her passion for life and beauty, her sharp wit and her exceptional sense of humor were only surpassed by her love for her children.
In addition to her children, Rosemary is survived by her grandchildren and great-grandchildren: Christa Boddy and daughter Madisyn; Heather and her husband, Anthony Banta and their children, Kyle and Tyler; and Kelly and her husband, Emil Hutchinson and their daughter, Isabelle Rose; as well as several nieces, nephews and relatives.
Private family services will be held at a later date.
