Robert “Bob’ Lee Loewenhagen, age 76, passed away on October 16, 2014 at the American Lutheran Home of Mondovi. Robert was united in marriage to Treva Gay Ottum on May 23, 1959; she preceded him in death on December 31, 2013. Robert was the son of the late Alvin and Mabel (Wenger) Loewenhagen. He and his family enjoyed residing in the Gilmanton and Modena area for many years. He was an avid card player and fisherman, and enjoyed socializing, especially with the coffee clutch at the Panther Café in Gilmanton, WI. He is survived by his three sons; Terry (Tracie Dejno) Loewenhagen of Blair, WI; Rory (Kelly) Loewenhagen of Gilmanton, WI; and Tracey Loewenhagen of Mondovi; two daughters; Violet Huftel (Tom Risler of Eleva, WI; Jodeen (Joe) Wolfe or Arcadia, WI; 2 grandsons; Justin Loewenhagen of Gilmanton, WI and William Loewenhagen of Blair, WI; 6 grandaughters; Carrie (Jerry) Larson of Mondovi, Larissa (Todd) Mcamis of Fayetteville, NC; Maxine Huftel (Kayla Loki Whiting) of Randleman, NC; Bailley Anderson and Mackenzie Wolfe of Arcadia, WI; Nicole Loewenhagen (Blake Turner) of Gilmanton; 9 great-grandchildren; Danielle Litchfield (Angela Whitman & Cashton Larson; Keegan McRoberts & Karlee Turner; Scott Huftel, Matthew, Sarah, Loren & Hailey Mamis. Also survivfed by brothers; Richard (Kim) Loewenhagen of Mondovi; Edward (Debbie) Loewenhagen of Altoona; Dorothy Orlikowski of Round Rock, TX; Patricia (Chuck Meyer of Elk Mound; Mary Fry of Strum; and Kay (Randy) Rustad of Gilmanton; also by many nieces and nephews and in-laws and friends. Robert was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Brenda Lea Loewenhagen and daughter in law, Anna Yoder. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, October 25, 2014 at the Talbot Family Funeral Home in Mondovi, with Chaplain Gary Preston officiating.
