Richard Wayne Kraus

Richard, Wayne Kraus, Sr., age 74, of Mondovi, Wisconsin was born February 25, 1949 in Evanston Illinois. He left this world February 19, 2024 at Mayo Health Systems, Eau Claire Campus, with family at his side to be with his savior Jesus Christ.
  He graduated from Niles high school. He retired at Marshall Fields & Co. in Evanston Illinois. He worked at UWRF and then transferred and worked and retired at UWEC.
  He enjoyed traveling, doing puzzles watching trains, church activities , spending time eating out with his church , family, and friends.
  He is survived by his wife Ruth 51 years , son Richard kraus JR. (Kristi) (granddaughter stephanie ) daughters Rachael Wulff (Scott) (grandsons Jeremiah, Joshua, Benjamin, granddaughter Hannah)
 Rebecca Buller (David) (granddaughter Faith) (grandsons Matthew, Michael, and Noah) , Robin Fritze (Tony)(granddaughter (Elizabeth) Rosemary Kraus and Megan Kraus.
 Linda, Kathy, Lawrence, William (Debbie), Debra, and Steven (Marsha) Kraus. Many nieces and nephews.
  He is preceded in death by infant daughter Jennifer Kraus, parents Robert and Corinne Kraus, Brothers James and Robert JR Kraus, sisters Judith and Tina Kraus , sister in law Renee and Donna and Marie Kraus.

 A funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 24, 2024 at 12:00 PM at the Birch Street Baptist Church, 3120 Birch St, Eau Claire, WI.  A visitation will be held at the church on Saturday from 10:00 AM until the hour of the service.   Burial will be on Monday, February 26, 2024 at Trinity of Norden Lutheran Cemetery.
