Patrick Louis Noll, age 60 of Alma, passed away on Wednesday, May 20, 2105 as the result of injuries sustained due to an automobile accident.
He was born on July 13, 1954 in Wabasha, a son of Delores (Zirzow) Noll and the late William Noll.
Pat and his family resided on the family farm on the Alma Bluff until they relocated to their home in Alma.
He attended the Herold grade school through the second grade. Pat then attended Alma Area Schools where he graduated with the Alma High School Class of 1972.
On May 21, 1977, Pat was united in marriage to Denise Diane Nelson at Trinity Lutheran Church in Eau Claire, WI and to this union, one daughter was born.
Pat was employed at the former Tousley Ford, now Sugar Loaf Ford in Winona until he was hired at Dairyland Power, Alma station in 1977. Patrick’s career found him retiring as a shift leader in June of 2014.
Pat had a deep desire and love for the outdoors where Hunting was a passion, especially for turkey and deer with Archery and muzzle loading giving him the most joy.
He was a man that will not only be remembered for his love of nature but also for his sense of humor. But was Pat will be remembered for mostly is what a great son, brother husband, dad and brand new grandpa and family member he was. Quite honestly, he was just an all-around good guy.
Pat will be deeply missed by his wife Denise, of Alma; daughter and son in law, Courtney and Matt Stanzil of Eau Claire and his grandsons, Kolton and Seamus; mother, Delores Noll; sister, Kathryn (James) Ruff of Alma; brothers, Dan (Deb) Noll of Nelson and Bruce (Stacy) Noll of Luck, WI; brother in law, Kurt (Tracy) Nelson of Eau Claire; sister in law Dana (Stephen) Koelmel of Edina, MN; also by aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews other relatives and dear friends.
Pat was preceded in death by his father, William; father in law, Gordy Nelson; paternal grandparents, Louis and Elizabeth Noll along with his maternal grandparents, Frank and Katherine Zirzow.
Funeral services will be held on Sunday, May 24, 2015 at 5:00 pm at St. John Lutheran church with pastor Joel Bacon officiating. Visitation will be held on Sunday from 2:00 pm until the hour of the service at the church.
