Pamela Jill Loewenhagen, age 50 of Cochrane, WI died Saturday May 26, 2012 at the Mayo Clinic – Franciscan Health Care, La Crosse, WI with her loving family by her side. Pamela was born November 23, 1961 to Henry and Lola (Green) Kunschke in Presque Isle, WI. During her childhood her family moved to Superior, WI. While growing up, her family often took camping trips to the KOA Campgrounds in Rice Lake; little did she know that this was where she was to meet the love of her life at the age of twelve. Pamela graduated high school in 1980 and then continued on at the technical college in Eau Claire. She then followed her heart to the Cochrane area to be with her love, Brian Loewenhagen. The two were married April 24, 1982 at Dr. Martin Luther Church, Buffalo City, WI. This union blessed them with two children; Kandi and Adam. Pamela worked part time, for the past 10 years at the Kwik Trip in Fountain City. Pam liked everything “Avon”, from collectibles for herself, to often buying gifts for others. She loved to crochet, especially when she was blessed with grandchildren, making each one a blanket. Pamela also enjoyed country music, always watching CMT, and getting Brian to help her find a new song she had heard, with only knowing a few notes. Pamela’s true passion though, was always her family.
She will be truly missed by her devoted husband Brian; her daughter Kandi (Tim Dahl) Loewenhagen of Cochrane; her son Adam (Ashley Grotjohn) of Buffalo City; grandchildren Harmony Loewenhagen, Lane and Levi Dahl; and Trinity Loewenhagen. Pam is also survived by one sister Patricia (Farhud) Toussi. She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother Monte Kunschke.
A time to gather and celebrate Pamela’s life will be Wednesday May 30 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Talbot Family Funeral Home, Alma, WI. A Funeral service with an hour of visitation prior will be Thursday May 31 at 11:00 AM, also at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Buffalo City Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Adam Loewenhagen, Tim Dahl, Tim Loewenhagen, Mark Loewenhagen, Alan Anderson, and Brian Michaels.
