Michael Edward Clark

Michael E. Clark, age 65, of Mondovi, passed away peacefully on the morning of Sunday, September 6, 2020. Michael is preceded in death by his mother Lorraine Woods, father Charles Clark and brother Patrick Clark. Mike is survived by a brother Wayne Clark, a sister Clara Link (Steven Link), a niece, great nieces, great nephew, cousin and other relatives and many friends. Mike was an active member of the Mondovi community working various jobs, Mike was often seen riding his bike and walking around town, always willing to stop and have a conversation with anyone. One of Mike’s passions was old western movies and he was very proud of his large collection. Mike enjoyed car rides and would often be seen riding around with his caregivers. One of Mike’s favorite trips was spending the day on the Mississippi River in Alma with his long-time friend, caregiver and guardian, Nathan L. Nelson. Mike had a soft heart for animals and enjoyed going to his caregiver, Jamie Falkner’s farm and spending time with the horses, dogs and cats. Mike’s guardian would like to extend a special thank you to all of Mike’s caregivers throughout the many years, because you all impacted his life greatly. A memorial gathering for Mike will be held on Friday, September 25, 2020 from 4:00pm until 6:00pm at the Talbot Family Funeral Home, Mondovi Chapel. A private inurnment will be held at a later date at Oak Park Cemetery in Mondovi. In lieu of flowers, memorials to help provide a cemetery monument for Mike would be greatly appreciated.
