Mary M. Zadurski, age 87, of Buffalo City, WI passed away on Tuesday, May 8, 2012 at the Sauer Memorial Home in Winona.
She was born on May 21, 1924 in South Milwaukee a daughter of the late Joseph and Georgianna (Bishop) Dishaw.
On August 3, 1946 Mary was united in marriage to Edward L. "Eddie" Zadurski in South Milwaukee. To this marriage, four children were born. Eddie preceded Mary in death on July 1, 2004.
Mary was a devoted and gracious member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Fountain City.
About 20 years ago, Mary and her husband relocated from Oak Creek, WI to Buffalo City, WI. She immediately fell in love with the scenic beauty of the Mississippi River and all Buffalo County had to offer. Soon after moving to Buffalo City, Mary began working at La Crosse Milling Company in Cochrane until her retirement.
She was a true and loving lady with an easy going personality who did all she could do for her children.
Mary will be sadly missed by her children, Barbara (Rick) Thomsen of Minnesota City, Eddie Zadurski, Jr. of Onalaska, Bill Zadurski of Buffalo City and Carol (Frank Snow) Zadurski of Naperville, IL; nine grandchildren 15 great grandchildren; also by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Preceding Mary in death were her parents; husband, Eddie; and siblings, Diane, Clara, Arthur, Marvin, Patrick and Joseph.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday, May 14 at 11:00 AM at St. Lawrence Catholic Church, Alma with Fr. Brian Jazdzewski officiating. Burial will be with Mary's husband at Southern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Union Grove, WI. A time of visitation and support for Mary's family will be from 9:30 AM until the hour of the mass all at the Church.
