Mark David Rohrer

Mark David Rohrer, age 59, of Mt. Dora, Florida, passed away Thursday, September 1, 2016 at Hospice House in Tavares, FL. Mark was born in Wabasha, MN on March 12, 1957 to John and Elaine (Jahnke) Rohrer. Mark graduated from Cochrane-Fountain City High School in 1975. He married Katrina (Pinkston) on June 26, 1993 in Mt. Dora. Mark worked in the building trades. Music was a big part of Mark’s life, and he was an accomplished drummer at a very young age. In addition to playing in high school groups, he played with the bands “Buffalo County” and “The Country Poor Boys.” There was rarely a time when he wasn’t playing or listening to music. Mark enjoyed time spent on the Mississippi River, working on boats, and riding his motorcycle. He also loved time spent with family and friends. He was an avid Packer and Badger fan while in Florida. Mark is survived by his wife, Katrina, and her daughters, Jessica and Randi; Randi’s sons, Justin and Jordan; his mother, Elaine; brother, Lonnie (Julene) Rohrer; sisters, Mary (Jeff) Sluzewski and Melanie Jackmovich. He is also survived by his niece Emily Lenz, and nephews Ben Sluzewski, Mitchell Sluzewski, and Nick Jackmovich. Mark was preceded in death by his father and brother, Randy.
