Marie A. Thoma

Marie A. Thoma, age 82 of Mondovi, died on Thursday, July 13, 2017 at Mayo Clinic Heath Systems Hospital, Eau Claire. She was born on December 1, 1934 in the Town of Segal, Cadott, WI, the daughter of Herman and Anna (Weber) Smith. She had one brother, Ronald (Bonnie). She lived at Foster the first 19 years of her life. Marie attended Lincoln Hill High School at Osseo. She married in 1954 and had 6 children. She is survived by her children, Mark (Carol) Thoma of San Tan Valley, AZ, Jeanne (Ben) Weiss of Eau Claire, Cynthia (Jim) Fitzgerald of Osseo, Theresa (Paul) Prissel of Eau Claire, Mary (Chris) Nysven of Osseo and Paula (John) Massad of La Plata, MD; 16 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother. A Memorial Mass will be held at Sacred Heart Catholic Church on Saturday, July 29, 2017 at 10:00 am with Father Paul Bosco presiding with an hour visitation prior to the Mass. Talbot Family Funeral Homes is assisting the family.
