Lori Lyn Boettcher

Lori Lyn Boettcher of Cochrane, WI passed away peacefully in her home on June 20, 2023 in the presence of her daughters Dawn Benway and Libbi Zeien (Tim Zeien) after her courageous battle with cancer. She worked hard throughout her life raising three children on her own as a young, single parent. In her early years, Lori enjoyed horseback riding with her favorite horse Fatima, and spending time in nature. Lori started her career as a nurse, but later pursued her love of cooking, working at several restaurants before her retirement in 2020. She leaves behind many grandchildren and great grandchildren (Andrea Critton (Nick Gilbertson), TJ Benway, Phoenix Benway, Kya Bertram, Dayna Critton, Jayda Running, Cole Zeien, Trystin Boettcher, Kacie Boettcher, Sadie Cunningham, Lincoln Boettcher, Skylar Adamson, Kade Gilbertson, Zane Gilbertson, and Azella Sokolowski). Lori is also survived by her father Gary Schlosstein, step mother Shelby Schlosstein, and step brother Najib Schlosstein. Lori is proceeded in death by her son Erick Boettcher and sister Tami McDaniel. She was loved deeply and will be missed dearly.  A celebration of Lori’s life will be held at a later date.
