Larry Russell

Larry George Russell, age 79, of Buffalo City, Wisconsin, died unexpectedly, Thursday, June 16, 2022.  Larry was born September 27, 1942 to George and Ramel “Lorraine” (nee Songbird) Russell. Larry made his living at Shindler Elevator, where he later retired from. He enjoyed deer hunting and fishing (any fish, lake and season). Larry was a man of many talents, especially woodworking and carpentry. Larry was a devout American. He was drafted into the Army and defended our country in the Cuban Crisis. Larry was a memeber of Wabasha -Kellogg American Legion, Post 50.  Larry will be deeply missed by those who knew and loved him. He is survived by his wife, Sheryl (Sherry) Ann Russell (nee LaSalle). His 5 children; Clint & Vicky, Natalie & Scott (Carroll), Wade & Teresa, Val & Randy (Smith) and Leon. His 2 step-daughters; Kristie & Gary (Tipton) and Amy & Joe (Kerstetter). He has many grandchildren and great grandchildren. 

A private gathering of family was held on Friday, June 17, 2022 at Talbot Funeral Home, Alma Wisconsin. A celebration of life will be held later this summer. Details to follow.
