Julie Anne Anderson, passed away unexpectedly yet peacefully at home on October 18th at age 64. An amazing wife, mother, grandmother and friend of many. A native of Eau Claire, born November 2, 1957, the oldest child of Frank and Donna (Oitzinger) Switzer.
Attended Eau Claire schools graduating in 1976 from North High School and was a supporter of the community working for her dad at Switzer Electric. Her career lead her to many diverse paths including Mento’s Greenhouse, Julie’s Cafe, and a host of other passions including a flower shop and local community restaurants allowing her to meet and talk with a variety of people.
Julie and Donnie married in a simple wedding in Julie’s parents backyard with many friends and family present. This union lasting 42 years in their home in rural Mondovi.
Her love of music (playing piano) and faith guided her through her life. She instilled this into the love of her family. She was devoted and dedicated to Evans Dairy, helping her daughter and son in law on the farm feeding calves and cooking meals during busy times.
The joy of her short 64 years was her granddaughter Reata. The time they shared cooking, baking, playing, visiting with friends, going to church, homeschooling, watching Reata ride her pony and gardening will forever be cherished by her family and their close friends.
Greatly missed by husband Donald Anderson, son Justin Anderson, and daughter Sarah (Brett) Evans, step daughters Missie (Jeff) Rohrscheib and Mindy (Dave) Rosenberger. Grandchildren Taylor (Nick) Huppert, Tyson Rohrscheib, Luke and Madyson Rosenberger and Reata Evans. Great granddaughter Mara Huppert.
Also greatly missed by her mother Donna (Richard) Kokemoor, sister Christine (Arne) Kleven and brother Gus Switzer. Multiple nieces, nephews and cousins.
In heaven Julie will be dancing to polka with her dad Frank Switzer and 2 stepping with mother in law Ina Anderson. Also grandparents and brother & sister in law Loren & Sharon Loomis.
