Judith Myrna Lietha, age 69 of Cochrane, WI died December 1, 2013. She was born on July 15, 1944 to Randall and Elizabeth (Salwey) Fetting in Winona, MN. She attended and graduated from Cochrane-Fountain City High School in 1962. Judy married Bert Lietha on April 3, 1964 in Goodview, MN, and to this union four children were born. She worked at Bollins until 1974. In 1978 Judy began her career at Knit Craft, Inc. until her retirement in July of 2012. Her leisure time was enjoyed by seeking out treasures at garage sales and baking great apple pies. Judy loved watching her Packer Games, and cheering them on. She was a selfless person, always putting the needs of others above her own. Judy would often look after the neighborhood children to make sure they were safe when getting off of the school bus. Above all, her children were her life. She will be sadly and deeply missed by her son Randy Lietha of Buffalo City, WI, her daughter Susan Lietha of Cochrane, WI, son Dan Lietha of Cochrane, and son Jason (Vicky) Lietha of Columbus, WI. Her grandchildren Mikaela, Austin and Matthew and her brothers Keith (Mary) Fetting of Colfax WI and Dean (Bennie) Fetting of Sulphur Springs TX along with many nieces and nephews. Also by special friends Debbie and Jess Meng, who were “just like her own”, and their children Bryon, Dylan, Ben, Haley, and Taylor. Judy was preceded in death by her parents, and brother Kenny Fetting. A visitation and gathering to support Judy’s children will be at Talbot Family Funeral Home in Cochrane on Friday December 6 at 4:00PM to 7:00 PM. A Funeral Service will be at Hope United Church of Christ will be on Saturday December 7 at 11:00 AM, with an hour of visitation prior. Burial will follow at Buffalo City Cemetery.
