John Geraghty

John Geraghty, age 96 of Mondovi, passed away on Sunday, October 11, 2015. He was born on March 2, 1919 in Flat, Alaska, the son of Guy and Pauline (Dubanski) Geraghty. John spent most of his life in Seattle, Washington. He went to work for the Boeing Company in 1940 and worked there for 25 years. In 1965 he and his wife Mabel purchased a women’s clothing store eventually opening seven locations in Washington and California. John was best described as a gentlemen. He was very independent and lived that way until his passing. He enjoyed spending time with his family, sports, reading, political discussions and exercising. He is survived by his children, Rod (Carole), Rick (Kay) and Linda Presley (Rob); 8 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Mabel; brother, Richard and sister, Vinita. According to John's wishes, there will be no services.
