Jennie Julia Krahn

Jennie Julia Krahn, age 92 of Fountain City, WI, formerly of Buffalo City, passed away on Friday, November 30, 2012 at Winona Community Memorial Hospital. She was born on July 31, 1920 in West Allis, WI to Fred and Emily (Fuller) Johnson. Jennie was united in marriage to Earnest James Krahn. She was a very caring and social lady who enjoyed spending time with her friends. Jennie was a loving homemaker, a great cook and provider for her entire family. She will be always remembered as a true and genuine lady with a warm smile. Her sole surviving son, Bruce said it perfectly; "She was always my mom, a perfect mom in every way, but over the years and the distant phone conversations, my mom also became my dear friend." Besides her son, Bruce of Houston, TX a grandson, Kevin Krahn also of Houston along with several cousins and dear friends are left to remember the love of Jennie. Preceding Jennie in death were her parents, husband Earnest, her son Owen, and two sisters. A memorial gathering to celebrate Jennie's life will be held at the Full Gospel Assembly Church in Cochrane, WI on Wednesday December 5, 2012 at 12:00pm until the time of service at 1:00PM. Burial will follow at Buffalo City Cemetery in Buffalo City, WI. Talbot Family Funeral Homes and Scenic Rivers Cremation Center assisted the family with arrangements.
