Jeffrey L. Semlar

Jeffrey L. Semlar, age 61, of West Salem, died on Friday, April 20, 2018 at Gundersen Lutheran Hospital with Ryan, Theresa, Jake and Jill at his side. He was born on June 1, 1956 a son of Lawrence “Moxie” and Dolores “Lori" Semlar. Jeff attended Luther High School, graduating with the class of 1974. He proudly served in the United States Air Force from 1977 until his honorable discharge in December of 1981. Jeff enjoyed golfing, and cooking and will be remembered as an excellent baker. Jeff is survived by his sons Ryan (Theresa) Semlar, Jacob Knorr and Eric Knorr; sisters, Jill (Dave) Munson and Laurie Arauz; brother, Monte; brother in law, Michael Manke along with many nieces, nephews and friends. His parents and Jeff's sisters; Penny Knutson, and Teresa Manke preceded him in death. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, April 25, 2018 at 1:00 PM at Our Savior's Lutheran Church in West Salem. A memorial gathering will be on Wednesday from 11:00 AM until the hour of the service. Memorials to the family of Jeffrey Semlar in Lieu of Flowers are appreciated
