Jane Halcomb

Jane Halcomb (nee Larson), age 58 of Fallon, Nevada passed away unexpectedly on September 27, 2015. Jane was born on February 21, 1957 in Mondovi to Ole and Ruth (Colby) Larson. She attended Mondovi Schools, graduating in 1975. Jane married Steve Birtzer and to this union two daughters were born. They later divorced. Jane then met and married Michael Halcomb and they lived in Fallon, NV until the time of her death. She is survived by her husband, Michael Halcomb; daughters, Amanda Brough and Jessica Birtzer; granddaughter, Darian Brough; mother, Ruth Larson; brothers and sisters, Pat Larson, Sue Larson and Jim Otterson, Bob and Val Larson, Ed and Faye Larson; sister-in-law, Jean Larson; aunt, Janis Crandall; former son-in-law, Ron Brough; former spouse, Steve Birtzer; many other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her father, Ole Larson; three infant siblings, Steven, Georganne and Christy; brother, Bill Larson; grandparents, Ray and Georgene Colby and Albert and Minnie Larson; brother-in-law, Galen Larson. A memorial service will be held at Talbot Family Funeral Home - Mondovi Chapel on Saturday, October 10, 2015 at 11:30 am with Pastor Daniel Pfaffe officiating. A visitation begin at 10:30 am. Luncheon and fellowship will follow the service at Zion Lutheran Church. Burial will be held at 1:30 pm at Forest Hill Cemetery, Durand.
