James Henry Schroeder, age 74, of Pepin, passed away on Wednesday, January 13, 2021 at the Plum City Care Center.
James was born on December 5, 1946 to Henry and Caroline Schroeder in Wabasha, MN.
James married Nancy Lindstrom on Aug. 30, 1969 after honorably serving in the United States Army
during the Vietnam War. James was very active in the community and was a member of Lyster Lutheran
Church, Pepin Lions Club and the American Legion.
James loved his family, going fishing, golfing and playing cards with family and friends. He will be missed
by his wife, family and friends who are all thankful for the many happy years and memories.
James is survived by his wife; Nancy (Lindstrom) Schroeder, children; Nona Alghozzi and Brandon
Schroeder, grandchildren; Chloe, Ethan, Avery, Ellison and Natessa, siblings; Betty Wieland, Sam (Karen)
Schroeder and Joanne (Arnie) Seifert, brother-in-law; William (Sandy) Lindstrom, sister-in-law; Anita
(Lyle) Brager as well as many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
James was preceeded in death by his parents, Henry and Caroline Schroeder, Nancy's parents, his brother, his sister-in-law, and his brother-in-law.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Monday, January18, 2021 at Oakwood Cemetery with
Pastor Michael Vetsch officiating. The family ask all attending, please where a mask and observe social distancing.
