James F. “Jim” Livingston, age 81 of Buffalo City, WI. passed away on Monday, May 13, 2019 at St. Mary Campus, Rochester, MN. He was born on November 12, 1937 in Porcupine, WI, the son of Wilson and Beatrice (Rageth) Livingston. Jim married the love of his life, Sonja Hanson on February 24, 1973 in Huron, SD. He worked in various fields and retired from Ashley Furniture. Jim was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed sharing hunting and fishing with his family and friends. He loved archery and bow hunting. He loved to read and was always learning new things. Jim loved watching YouTube and scrolling through Facebook. He enjoyed listening to Bluegrass and Country music. Jim’s true love was spending time with his family and having family get-togethers.
Jim will be sadly missed by his daughters, Tiffany Livingston of Minneapolis, MN and Marissa (Ted) Keller of Buffalo City; step-son, Elmer Clinton (Gaye) West of Florence, SC; 12 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; siblings, Betty Bruske, Duwayne Livingston, Larry (Kathy) Livingston and Mike Livingston; nieces and nephews; other relatives and many dear friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Sonja; grandson, Walter Brown, Jr.; sister, Gladys Breidung; brother, Robert Livingston and infant brother.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Talbot Family Funeral Homes, Alma Chapel on Monday, May 20, 2019 at 4:00 pm with a memorial gathering beginning at 2:00 pm.
