Jack Marcel Boyd, Jr.

Marcel Boyd, Jr. age 68, of Mondovi, passed away on October 14, 2024 in Eau Claire due to a 3 year hard fought battle with cancer.

Jack spent many years as an Owner/Operator truck driver.  For the last 25 years, he and his wife Sharon, traveled the roads together, accompanied by their beloved Boston Terriers.

Jack had a passion for his Harley motorcycles and his corvette, enjoying both riding and working on them.  This love for the open road was mirrored in both his personal and professional life, bring joy and a sense of adventure to his days.

Jack leaves behind his wife, Sharon; mother, Donna and step father, Bob Butler; stepmother, Karen Boyd; children, Lesley Boyd and her boyfriend, Donnie, son, Shon Boyd; Stepson, Jesse Bloom and wife Susie; He was a proud grandfather to Charlotte, Lilli and boyfriend Miquel, Keannah, Aubriannah, Cali and Brantley; great grandson, Emmet.

He is further survived by his sisters, Penny and her husband, Donnie Briggle, Pattie and her husband Darrin Keller, Peggy and husband Paul Niday and brother, Jimmy.

Jack was preceded in death by his dad, Jack M. Boyd, Sr.; brother, Mark and granddaughter, Kelsie.

Jack's life was marked with his strong family ties, his love for the road and simple pleasures of working on his bikes and car.  He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, nieces and nephews and by all that knew him.

A celebration of Jack's life will be held on Saturday, November 9, 2024 from 11:00 AM until 2:30 PM at Buzz's Bar and Grill in Mondovi.
