Irvin F. "Irv" Thalacker

Irvin Frederick Thalacker, 71, of Mondovi, passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 22, following a lengthy illness. He was born to Gerhard H. Thalacker and Alma J.(Lawrence) Thalacker on June 26, 1946 in Mondovi, WI. He attended Mondovi Public schools and graduated from Mondovi High School in 1964. Irvin was employed at the Farmer’s Store, the Consumer’s Co-op and Bob’s IGA until becoming disabled. He was a past memberof Retail Clerk’s Union. He was a member of Zion Lutheran Church where he held various church offices and taught Sunday School. He was a former AAL branch officer. Irvin spent many years at the American Lutheran Home where he participated in many activities despite his illness. He was preceded in death by his parents and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. A memorial service will be held at Zion Lutheran Church on Saturday, March 3, 2018 at 11:00 A.M. with Pastor Paul Wobbeking officiating with visitation one hour prior to the service.
