Ina Christine Anderson

Ina Christine Anderson, age 98 of Mondovi passed away on Sunday, December 11, 2016 at the American Lutheran Home. She was born on June 10, 1918 at home in Turtle Mountains at Ackworth, North Dakota, the daughter of John and Agnes (Aasness) Hagen. Ina was baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran faith at Vinje Lutheran Church in rural Bottineau, North Dakota. She came to Wisconsin on August 6, 1938 and began working at the Hacker Hotel in Alma. She married Lyman Anderson on July 16, 1941 at Central Lutheran Church. They were able to share 26 years together before he passed on March 24, 1967. Ina and Lyman owned and operated Anderson Implement in Modena from 1963-1967. She was a member of Modena Lutheran Church and a part of the ladies organizations. Ina will be sadly missed by her children, Sharon (Loren) Loomis of Eleva and Donald L. (Julie) Anderson of Mondovi; grandchildren, Brad Loomis of Neillsville, Todd (Kari) Loomis of Durand, Julie Loomis-Miller (Kenneth) of Archdale, NC, Missy (Jeff) Rohrscheib of Eleva, Mindy (David) Rosenberger of Eleva, Justin Anderson of Mondovi and Sarah (Brett) Evans of Nelson; great-grandchildren, Jessica Loomis-Harder, Allen Loomis, Taylor Rohrscheib, Tyson Rohrscheib, Luke Rosenberger, Madison Rosenberger, Heidi Miller and Reata Evans; great-great-grandchildren, Dayton, Daisy and Lily Harder of Neillsville; brother, Oscar of LaCrosse; sister-in-law, Thelma of Kinnewick, WA; nieces and nephews; other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; brothers, Raymond, Clifford and Orville and sisters, Alice, Clara and Florence. A funeral service will be held at Modena Lutheran Church on Saturday, December 17, 2016 at 11:30 am with Pastor Natalie Leske officiating. Burial to immediately follow at Modena Cemetery. A visitation will be held at the church on Saturday from 10 am until the time of service. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff at Home Place and the American Lutheran Home for their loving care and concern.
