Glenn E. Lehman, age 101, a lifelong Alma resident, died at home the morning of Saturday, July 27, 2024. Glenn was born on April 20, 1923, in Pine Creek Valley, Town of Alma, to Edwin & Elsie (Reidt) Lehman. Glenn attended Alma Schools graduating with the class of 1940. On October 27, 1953, Glenn was united in marriage to Gertrude Fichtenbauer at Holy Rosary Catholic Church-Lima in rural Durand, Wisconsin, and made their home in Pine Creek. They worked side by side through the years dairy farming and raising Polled Herefords. Glenn also worked plowing snow and grading roads for the Town of Alma. In retirement, they moved to their home on the Mississippi River in the City of Alma and enjoyed wintering in Arizona. Over the years, together with family, Glenn enjoyed camping in northern Wisconsin, boating, picnics, and water skiing on the Mississippi River. He enjoyed hunting elk, mule deer, antelope, and javelina in the western states, moose in Canada, bear in northern Minnesota, and especially enjoyed hunting and fishing at home in the Alma area. Glenn was a life member of the Alma Rod & Gun Club and a member of St Lawrence Catholic Church.

 Glenn is survived by his wife, Gertrude, daughters; Cherie (Mark) Noll of Alma, Kathy (Glen) Axness of Eau Claire, and Karen (Tim) Lodermeier of Alma. Seven grandchildren; Jennifer (Steven) Tuschy of Madison, Stephanie Noll (Richard Kelley) of Cross Plains, Gregory (Emily) Noll of Lonsdale, MN, Shane (Stacy) Axness of Eau Claire, Carson (Emily) Axness of Eau Claire, Nathan Lodermeier of Eagan, MN, and Ridge Lodermeier of Alma. Four great grandchildren; Saylor and Slade Axness and Elin and Reid Noll. Sister-in-law Irene Halverson, brother-in-law Raymond (Bev) Fichtenbauer and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

 Glenn is preceded in death by his parents; son, Duane; grandson, Brady Lodermeier; sisters, Joyce (Donald) Serum and Darling in infancy; sisters-in-law, Irma (Bernard) Brantner and Evelyn (Edward) Prissel.

 A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, August 1st at St. Lawrence Catholic Church, Alma, with Father Aruldoss officiating. A visitation will be on Thursday, August 1st from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the Mass. Burial will follow the service at the Alma Public Cemetery.
