Gary J. Ameringer

Gary J. Ameringer, age 77 of Nelson passed away on Sunday, July 7, 2019 at St. Elizabeth Heath Care Center, Wabasha, MN. He was born in May 6, 1942 in Milwaukee, the son of Irving and Helen (Hutwagner) Ameringer. Gary married Kathleen “Kay” Speck on January 13, 1965 and they were able to share 54 years together. Gary worked for WE Energies in Milwaukee for over 27 years. He enjoyed many outdoor activities. He is survived by his wife, Kay; son, Bob (Chris); grandson, Joe (Deja); great-grandson, Jackson; nieces; nephews; other relatives and dear friends. He was preceded in death by his parents. According to Gary’s wishes there will be no funeral services. The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the staff at St. Elizabeth’s for their care and concern in Gary’s last days.
