Frances Patricia Moyer, age 49, of Mondovi, passed away on Saturday, February 14, 2015 with her loving family at her side at Mayo Health System, Oakridge in Osseo after a courageous battle with Ankylosing spondylitis.
She was born on March 17, 1965 in Durand, a daughter of Earl and Alice (Quale) Hewitt.
Frances’ life was positively changed when she was lovingly accepted into the lives of Maynard and Betty Trones as they became her foster parents and was accepted like one of their own.
Frances attended Mondovi schools, graduating with the Mondovi High School Class of 1984. She went on to further her education at Chippewa Valley Technical College in child care.
On June 6, 1986, Frances was united in marriage to Scott Moyer at Prince of Peace Covenant Church in the Town of Drammen, Eau Claire County. To this loving union, three children were born.
Frances was employed in the dietary department at the American Lutheran Home in Mondovi. Even through her illness, Frances would have a strong work ethic which is an attribute she saw passed on to her children.
Frances had a deep love and devotion for family, spending time with them and cherishing every moment, especially with her precious little grandchildren.
Frances will be sadly missed by her husband of almost 28 years, Scott of Mondovi; her children, Michael (Nicole) of Blair, Bradley (Sarah) of Fountain City and Kasondra (Michael) Serum of Mondovi; her precious 6 grandchildren, Zakary, Jaelyn, Makena, Ava, Annabele and Abigail; foster mom, Betty Trones; brothers and sisters, Debbie Ronholdt, John Trones, James Trones, Brenda Fesko, Tim Trones, Alvira Hewitt, Earl Hewitt, Andrew Hewitt, David Hewitt and Ruth Bechel; also by her very special “furry K-9 companion”, Jack along with nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
