Esther Ann Pronschinske

Esther Ann Pronschinske of Waumandee, WI passed away peacefully surrounded by family on October 16th, 2019. She was born December 30th, 1931 in Tamarack at the homestead of Peter and Catherine (Glowacki) Peplinski. She was a member of St. Boniface Catholic Church and the Altar Society. Prior to Mass she faithfully led the congregation by praying the rosary for many years. She was also a member of the Ladies Auxiliary for the VFW 10406, Cochrane, WI. Esther was united in marriage to Urban J. Pronschinske on February 16th, 1953 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Pine Creek, WI. She was employed as a cashier at Roy’s Store in Tamarack. She also worked at Winona Knitting Mills and was a telephone operator with North Western Bell in Rochester, MN. Urban & Esther farmed in Independence, WI and later settled in Waumandee. Esther was employed by the United States Postal Service in 1969 which was located on the front porch of her home until she retired November 1st, 2001. Esther dearly loved her children but what truly put sunshine in her day was many visits from her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She is survived by her five children, Willie (Brenda Baecker) of Waumandee, Leon (Celeste Langreck) of Buffalo City, Brian (Jean Fonfara) of Waumandee, Renee (Ron Guza) of Independence and Perry (Renee Brager) of Alma; eight grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Urban, her parents, brothers Edward, David & Hubert Peplinski and one sister, Sr. Damian Peplinski. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, October 21st, 2019 at 11:00 AM at St. Boniface Catholic Church in Waumandee with Father Prince Raja as Celebrant. Burial will follow at the parish cemetery. A wake will be held on Sunday, October 20, 2019 starting with the reciting of the Most Holy Rosary at 2:45 and ending with a Parish Scripture Service at 6:00 PM.
