Eric W. Gustavson

Eric W. Gustavson, age 53, of Alma, died peacefully on Wednesday, June 10, 2020 with his loving family at his side at Mayo Clinic Rochester-St. Mary’s Campus. He was born on January 9, 1967 Glen Ridge, NJ, the son of the late Andrew J. and Virginia Gustavson. On July 11, 1998, Eric was united in marriage to Melissa Thoeny at Buena Vista Park, Alma, WI Eric will be sadly missed by his wife, Melissa, of Alma; children, Kevin (Alica) Thoeny of Viroqua, WI, Scott Bigalk of Wabasha, Jessica Bigalk of Alma, David Gustavson of Nelson and Kyle Gustavson of Alma; 7 grandchildren; sister, Linda; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Besides his parents, Andrew and Virginia, Eric was preceded in death by a brother, A memorial gathering and celebration of Eric’s life will be held on Saturday, June 27, 2020 starting at 1:00 PM at Buena Vista Park in Alma. Eric will be laid to rest at a later date near his hometown of Glen Ridge, New Jersey. Scenic Rivers Cremation Center, Mondovi, assisted with arrangements.
