Eleanor V. Hart of Mondovi, WI passed away peacefully on May 26, 2014 at the age of 94 at the American Lutheran Home, Mondovi.
She was born on February 19, 1920 in Independence, WI one of twelve children to Frank and Julia (Marsolek) Kwosek.
On February 14, 1942, Eleanor was united in marriage to Orville W. Hart. To this loving union, two daughters were born. Orville preceded Eleanor in death on September 28, 2007.
Eleanor worked as a waitress at the former Weiss’ Restaurant and was also employed as the bookkeeper at Neuheisel Lime Works.
Eleanor will be remembered for her love of baking, especially cookies being her staple item to be shared with all. She was also an avid quilter and would make sure that every “new edition” to her family received one of her loving creations.
Eleanor will be forever in the hearts of her daughters as a truly loving, giving and gracious mom.
Eleanor will be sadly missed by her two daughters, Julie (Doug) Bauer and Orvilla (Galen) Ede all of Mondovi; six grandchildren, Tammy (Todd) Eide, Wendy (Keith) Fenske, Kim (Jim) Brummel, Tracy (Ron) Longsdorf, Darrin (Tony) Ede and Douglas (Dawn) Ede; 14 great grandchildren; one brother, Jerome (Ruby) Kwosek; one sister, Irene Bader; also by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Besides her parents and husband Orville, 3 brothers; 6 sisters and granddaughter Becca Ede preceded Eleanor in death.
A visitation will be held on Thursday, May 29 from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM at the Talbot Family Funeral Home, Mondovi Chapel. Burial will be at Oak Park Cemetery. A private family service will be held on Friday.
