Donald "Don" Herrmann

Donald C. “Don” Herrmann, age 66 of Cochrane, passed away unexpectedly at his home on Saturday, May 25, 2019. He was born on March 6, 1953 in Chicago, IL, the son of Vernon and Isbelle (Luther) Herrmann. Don attended High School in Chicago before moving to Cream around 1974. He worked at the Ponderosa Bar in Cream with his mom and took over when she retired. Don took pride is keeping a manicured lawn with his John Deere mower. After the Ponderosa Bar was sold, he retired to Cochrane. He is survived by his sister, Dorothy Fuller of Cochrane; brother, Dennis (Pat) Herrmann of Celina, TN; niece, Tina (Todd) Anibas; nephew, George (Shara) Fuller; many great-nieces and nephews; special friend, Tammy Riska; Tiki the cat; other relatives and dear friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and two nephews, Woody and Scott. A memorial gathering will be held at Talbot Family Funeral Homes, Alma Chapel on Thursday, May 30, 2019 from 3:30-5 pm.
