David Charles George

David Charles George, 69, of Ironwood MI, passed away on June 4, 2024, at Mayo Clinic, St. Mary’s Campus, in Rochester, MN.
 
 David was born on February 14, 1955, in Arcadia, WI. He graduated from Independence High School in 1972 and enjoyed a successful lifelong career as a meat cutter. He had many hobbies including Bowling, Golfing, Fishing, Gambling, and watching the Green Bay Packers. He especially loved taking his Harley for an afternoon ride and had a passion for Grilling.
 
 Dave is survived by his wife Lois of forty-five years, two daughters, Katie George of Golden Valley, MN, and Carol Holtz of Buffalo City, WI, grandchildren Lilyan Holtz of Duluth, MN, and Xavier Anderson of Buffalo City, WI. He is also survived by four sisters, Cheyanne George of Maiden Rock, WI, Burnadette Sands of Mankato, MN, Karen Brammer of Whitehall, WI, and Debbie George.
 
 Dave was preceded in death by his father Norman George Jr, his mother Arvis George, his brother John George, paternal grandparents Norman and Lillian George Sr, and maternal grandparents John and Erma Marsh.
 
 A visitation will be held at Talbot Family Funeral Home in Cochrane, WI, on Monday, June 10, from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM, and again on Tuesday, June 11, at 10:00 AM until the time of the service at 11:00 AM.
