Dale R. Larson age 71, of Chimney Rock Township, Trempealeau County, passed away on Friday, August 24, 2018 at Mayo Heath System in Eau Claire with his wife Mary by his side following a long and courageous battle with cancer. He was born March 9, 1947 in Mondovi, the son of the late Roy and Esther (Miller) Larson. Dale attended grade school at Canton and Graduated from Mondovi High School with the class of 1965. On November 6, 1965, Dale was united in marriage to Judy Thompson. To this union, two daughters were born, Pam and Karen. They later divorced. On January 30th, 1988 he married Muriel Wirig, she proceeded him in death 2010. On September 15, 2012 he was united in marriage to Mary Christopherson. For many years he worked in the trucking industry and owned his own trucking business aarco Equipment in Wisconsin Dells. After retiring he moved to "The Farm" in Eleva. Dale enjoyed watching the Brewers, Packers, Bucks and Badgers. He enjoyed going to horse and tractor pulls and pulling the hot rod "Orange Blossom Special". He enjoyed hunting, Canada fishing trips and time spent at the "shack". Dale was very active in Zion Lutheran Church as an elder.
Dale is survived by his wife Mary, daughters Pam (Jeff Bloom), Karen (Al) Anderson, grandchildren, Natalie, Eric, Joey and Gracie, great grandchildren Braxton, Onnaleigh and Arloe, sister Carol (Bill) Williams, brother, Dennis & (Sharon) Gunderson, step-children Jenny (Mike Hayden) Pratt, Ross (Melissa) Christopherson, step-grand children, Noah, Jonah, Hayden, Braeya, Cole and Riley, sister-in-law Julie Rosenthal, brother-in-law Al Rosenthal, Muriel's children, grandchildren and great-grand children, along with nieces, nephews and friends.
Dale is proceeded in death by his parents, wife Muriel, brothers-in-laws David Rosenthal, Barry Bloom & Jim Bloss.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, August 29, 2018 at 2:00 PM at Zion Lutheran Church in Mondovi with Pastor Tim Moe officiating. Burial will be a East Bennett Valley Cemetery. A visitation will be held on Wednesday from 12:00 Noon until the hour of the service all at the church.
