Cynthia "Cindy" K. Sessions

Cynthia (Cindy) K. Sessions of Kempner, Texas, passed away in her sleep, on April 6, 2024, at her home.  Cindy was born June 13, 1948 in Columbus Ohio to John and Evelyn Snyder. Her father being in the Army they traveled between Fort Knox, Kentucky and Germany.  She graduated from high school in Indianapolis, IN in 1966.  After graduation she moved to Texas.  She was married to David Young, they later divorced.  A beautiful daughter Kathryn Louise was born. 

On October 14, 1996 she was united in marriage to the love of her life, Ricky Sessions. 

They have lived in Indianapolis, Mondovi and retiring to Texas to be close to her daughter and two grandchildren. 

Her latest jobs were for City of Mondovi, Alliance Bank and Gehrke Floral, making lasting friendships in Mondovi.

Cindy will be missed by her husband Ricky Sessions, daughter Kathryn (John) Ellis of  Austin, Texas, stepson Kristian Cavanaugh, Colorado Springs, CO, granddaughters Christine (Tim) Johnson of Wimberley, TX, and Jenny Rookey of Austin, TX, three greatgrandchildren Alex Perez, Hunter Johnson and Hayden Johnson of Wimberley, TX.  Her sister Alise Snyder of Greenwood, IN.  Brother-in-laws William (Betty); Roger (Jenny – significant other), Sister-in-laws Marjorie Heck, Sally (Dean) McGee, Linda (Ken) Wulff, Rene (Dale) Laehn, Margaret Sessions.  Many nieces and nephews and other relatives.

Preceded in death by her parents John Snyder, Evelyn Sagen and stepfather Manuel Sagan, parent in laws Arthur and Hilda Sessions. Brother-in-laws Terry and Roland (Helen) Sessions, a niece Pamela K McGee.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, April 27, 2024 at Zion Lutheran Church, 264 E Main St. Mondovi, WI, with Pastor Scott Johnson officiating. A visitation will be held at the church on Saturday from 10:00 AM until the hour of the service.   Internment will be at the Northern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Spooner, WI on Monday April 29, 2024.
