Corine June Busch

Corine June Busch, 84, of Nelson, Wis., passed away Wednesday, Dec. 26, 2012, at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Wabasha, Minn. She was born on May 13, 1928, in Nelson to Thomas and Christina (Wilsing) Strand. On Jan. 26, 1946, Corine was united in marriage to Glenn R. Busch at Grace Evengelical Lutheran Church in Nelson. To this union, two children were born. Glenn passed away Nov. 15, 2002. In January 1955, Corine and her family moved to Beloit, Wis. Corine worked at JC Penney and Sears. Most of her career was working as a health care aide. Corine moved back to Nelson on Nov. 17, 2011, which allowed her to be closer with family and friends, and listen to the trains. Corine will be remembered for her love of cooking and baking along with sewing. She also enjoyed the outdoors, especially camping and fishing. Corine enjoyed, best of all, the time spent with her family. Corine is survived by her daughter, Caryll A. Niles of Nelson; son, Dennis G. Busch of rural Nelson; daughter-in-law, Joyce Busch of Avalon, Wis.; five grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; seven step-great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild on the way; also by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Corine’s parents, husband Glenn, brother, Harold Strand, and step- grandson Frank preceded her in death. A visitation and gathering to celebrate Corine will be from 10 a.m. until the time of service at 11 a.m. on Monday, Dec. 31, at the Talbot Family Funeral Home in Alma, Wis.
