Corina Theresa Schmeda

Corina Theresa Schmeda, age 82 of Cochrane, passed away on Sunday, June 16, 2019 at Gundersen Hospital. She was born on July 3, 1936 in Chicago, IL, the daughter of Ciro and Odda (Catalani) Rossini. Corina was a proud mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was proud of her Italian heritage. Coming from Chicago, she was a huge Chicago Bears and Cubs fan. Corina enjoyed sewing and was an incredible seamstress. She will be sadly missed by her children, Lisa (Mark) Weaver and Michael (Linda) Schmeda; grandchildren, Erin (Jay) Hammock, Regina Weaver (partner, Edward Nicholas) and Anthony Schmeda (Nicole Trost); great-grandchildren, Lilly, Natalie and Evelynn; brother, Ciro Rossini; numerous nieces and nephews; special cousin, Carol Jost; other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Robert; son, Bobby and brothers, Raymond, Reynold and Richard. A memorial service will be held at Talbot Family Funeral Homes, Cochrane Chapel on Saturday, June 22, 2019 at 3:00 pm with a visitation beginning at 1:00 pm.
