Connie Herold

Connie Herold, 80, of Mondovi, WI passed away on October 8, peacefully in her home. Connie was born on October 10, 1935 in Manchuria, China. During WWII, her family returned to their homeland of South Korea. Starting at the young age of 13, Connie worked her entire life. In September 1961, she married Wilbur Herold and settled in the Mondovi community in 1966. While living in Mondovi, she was a regular employee at the local canning factory and Huntsinger Farms, Inc., along with actively working on the Herold Farm. Connie will be deeply missed. She is survived by her children Tammie (John) Wallace, Teresa (Michael Thorson) Herold, Thomas (Anne) Herold, her grandchild, Moraya Wallace, her sister Jennifer (Joe) Pittman & nephews John & Michael, along with two brothers, one sister, nieces and nephews in South Korea. She was preceded in death by husband Wilbur Herold. Connie’s family wishes to extend our sincere appreciation to the caregivers at the Mayo Clinic Health and Hospice System and Always There Home Care of Western Wisconsin. A visitation will be held on Saturday, October 22, 2016 at Talbot Family Funeral Home – Mondovi Chapel from 9:30am – 10:30am, followed by service at 10:30am. A private burial in Alma, WI will follow.
