Charles W. McHone Jr., peacefully fell asleep in Jesus, Sunday morning, February 21, 2016. He was born in Wise County, Virginia May 4th, 1923, to Charles and Lola (James) McHone and was raised in Fountain City, TN, a little superb of Knoxvile, TN. He was a four year WWII Marine Corp Veteran. He married Elaine Rieck, of Nelson, Wisc. In the winter of 1956. 59 years of true love. A devoted family man, Charles, (Charlie) raised four musical children, who were his pride and joy. By trade, Charles was a brick mason for many years. He was a lifelong member of the VFW and DAV. Charlie, (also known to many as Bill) Dad, was a kind, loving, sociable, gentle, but stern, proud soul, who loved his family, friends and Country and above all his God. He will be so very missed. Charles is survived by his wife, Elaine, three sons, Daniel (Deidre), Plainview, Mn, Michael (Sheila), Tavares, Fl, Barry (Tamela), Dayton, Tn, and one daughter, Suzanne Morgan (Darell), Belleview, Fl. Thirteen grandchildren and three great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, 2 sisters, 5 brothers, 1 son. A celebration of life will be held in memory of Charles in the Spring.
