Carol Marie Blum

Carol Marie Blum, Age 82 of Winona, MN passed away on Saturday, November 10, 2018 at Winona Health with the joyful singing of Ruth Olson at her side. Carol was born on December 1, 1935 to John and Birdilla(Maier) Mahlman. Carol was united in marriage to her loving husband Robert W. Blum on November 26, 1955 at St John's UCC in Fountain City, WI She was a loving wife and mother. She worked along the side her husband farming, and in Winona for many years at Wincraft until retirement. Carol was a member of the Boris Valley homemakers club. She loved gardening, and especially her beautiful flower gardens. She loved spending time with her family and friends playing cards. Carol was a member at St John's United Church of Christ in Fountain City. Carol and Robert were blessed with 3 girls, Lori (Randy) Maier of Buffalo City, WI, Kathy Scow of Arcadia, WI and Tammy(Fred) Moga of Kiester, MN She had 4 grandchildren, Nathan(Katie) Maier of Buffalo City, WI, Crystal(Anthony) Dienger of Cochrane, WI, Eric Scow of Whitehall, WI and Stacy Scow of Arcadia, WI She had 4 precious Great-Grandchildren, Ryan, Blake, Marisa Maier and Mariah Scow. She had 2 special Godchildren, Terry Comero of Mondovi, Wi and Sara Stephens of Altura, MN Preceding her in death are her parents. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, November 14, 2018 at 11:00 AM at the Talbot Family Funeral Home, Cochrane Chapel with Pastor Greg Ferriss officiating. Burial will follow at Buffalo City Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Wednesday one hour prior to the service
