Billy Dean McGee, age 66, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, March 19, 2024.

He was born in Mondovi on August 2, 1957, the son of Edward “Jack” and Rhodell McGee.

Billy attended Mondovi Schools and graduated in 1975.

He married Becky Shaw and to this union, two children were born, Josh and Jasmine.  They later divorced.

In his earlier days, Billy worked for the City of Mondovi, at Ashley Furniture in Arcadia and retired from Conrad's Auto Salvage.  After retirement he worked at Island's Edge where he enjoyed visting with customers.

Bill enjoyed his best life while riding his Harley and later took great pride in driving around in his 57' Belair. 

Bill is survived by his children, Josh McGee and Jasmine McGee of Marshfeild: His siblings, Dean (Sally) McGee of Mondovi, Mary McGee of Mondovi, Jim (Linda) of Mondovi, Nancy Winberg of Mondovi, Donna (Kenneth) Schmitt of Campbellsport, Larry (Barb) McGee of Strum, Dixie (Joe) Kaehne of Campbellsport, Terry (Kim) McGee of  Mondovi, Bob (Dixie) McGee of  Mondovi and Joy Kellner of Gilmanton; sisters in law,Gail McGee of Eau Claire and   Shirley McGee of West Bend and Joy McGee of Eau Claire; also by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and countless friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents Edward (Jack) & Rhodell McGee; Sister & brother in law Jean & Stan Quale; Four Brothers, Dick McGee, Dale McGee, Randy McGee and Shawn McGee; Brothers in law Dwight Winberg & Jon Steinke and his niece, Pam McGee.

A celebration of Bill’s life will be held at a later date. 

Talbot Family Funeral Homes-Scenic Rivers Cremation of Mondovi, WI assisted the family.
