Bethel M. Ebersold

Bethel M. Ebersold, age 86 of Pepin, passed away on October 23, 2018 at St. Mary’s Hospital, Rochester. Bethel was born on March 12, 1932 in Britton, South Dakota, the daughter of Russell and Arlie (Robins) Dodds. She married Merlin “Doc” in 1953. Bethel was a teacher for over 30 years, enjoyed being a homemaker, traveling with Doc, and loved being a grandmother. Bethel is survived by her husband, Merlin of Pepin; son, Glenn (Jennifer) of Eagan, MN; daughter, Faye (Chuck) House of St. Paul, MN; grandchildren, Caitlin House, Daniel Ebersold, Nathan House, Lauren Ebersold and Timothy Ebersold; special companion, Mona Lisa II, the cat; nieces and nephews; other relatives and friends. Bethel was preceded in death by her parents; son, Tracy Ebersold and brother, Russell Dodds. A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 29, 2018 at 11:00 am at Talbot Family Funeral Homes, Alma Chapel with a visitation beginning at 10:00 am. Burial to immediately follow at Nelson Cemetery, Nelson. The family would appreciate memorial donations to the Pepin Emergency Ambulance Service, PO Box 387/508 2nd St., Pepin, WI 54759.
