Barbara Joan Broberg

Barbara Joan Broberg, age 74 of Hutchingson, MN, formerly of Waumandee, WI passed away on April 20, 2021 at Hutchingson Health Hospital. Barbara was born on November 2, 1946 to Veryl S. and Vera (Marty) Loewenhagen in Winona, MN. Barbara attended and graduated from Arcadia High school. In June of 1966 she married Harley Broberg, and later divorced in 1984. Barbara waitressed at various restaurants in the area. She loved to garden, both flowers and vegetables. Barbara was also very fond of all of her kitties. Her favorite pastime was recording and researching family history. Barbara is survived by her son, Ricky Broberg, her sisters; Bonnie Ottum, Charlene(Rocky) Klingel, Sue(Dan)Oldham, Judy(Ron) Goeldner, Shelby Brown, Nancy (Gary) Jackson, sister in law; Christine Loewenhagen, and significant other; John Vokal. Also by many nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers; Arnie, Veryl Jr., Neil, and two sons, Harley John, and Scotty James. A celebration of Barbara’s life will be held at Talbot Family Funeral Homes in Alma, WI on Friday May 14 at 1:00PM until the time of service at 2:00PM. Burial will follow at Montana United Methodist Church Cemetery.
