Asher Michael Rodgers, born Oct. 12, 2015, the precious son of Melissa Pieper and James Rodgers, passed away Saturday, Dec. 26, 2015, at their home in rural Fountain City.
Asher was a happy baby, rarely crying. His smile and giggles would light up the room.
Asher will be forever missed by his mom and dad, Melissa Pieper and James Rodgers; his brother, Coulten; maternal grandma, Debbie (Derald Madden) Pieper; paternal grandma and grandpa, Naomi and Joseph Rodgers of Mondovi; “special” grandma and grandpa, Lisa and Mike Bushman of Dodge, Wis.; maternal great-grandma, Barb (Leroy) Britton; and maternal great-grandpa, Bernard Juaire of Brainerd, Minn.; paternal great-grandparents, John and Mavis Magnuson of Holdingford, Minn., Catherine Dunnavant and George Rodgers, both of Mobile, Ala.; aunts and uncles, John, Jesse, Terzah, Syndien, Rian, Nicholas, Baden, Ethan, William, Josephine, Dorian, Daniel, Joesph, Krystal, Jessica, Justin, Ryan and Michael. Preceding Asher in death is his maternal grandpa, Ronald Pieper.
Funeral services will be held at 12 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 30, 2015, at Talbot Family Funeral Home, Alma Chapel, with Pastor Joel Bacon officiating. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery, Jordan, Minn. A time of visitation and support for Asher’s family will be held from 4 until 7 p.m. today, Dec. 29, and again from 10 a.m. until the hour of the service, all at the funeral home.
